CAPTAIN JONO JONES
Captain Jono Jones is a retired thoroughbred racing jockey at Woodbine Racetrack in Canada and Barbados. Captain Jono was at the helm when Legacy landed the heaviest Blue Marlin and won the Rolex/IGFA Offshore Championship Spice Island Billfish Tournament 2006 in Grenada, weighing in at 669 lbs. A record that still stands.

We caught 5 whoopers, Barbuda and Whahoo we all had a wonderful time both Ladies and Gents were made very welcome. Highly recommend they were lovely guys they couldn't do enough for us with plenty of beers, water, soft drinks and tuna sandwiches. Thanks for a great morning.

We aren't particularly fishy people but our 7 and 9 year old boys wanted to go fishing so we thought we'd give a morning trip a go. Jono and Mario did a great job calling around finding where the fish were biting and ensuring everything was always set up. The boys caught 3 barracuda, plenty of live bait and hooked but lost a king fish (wahoo). We enjoyed it so much we went out for another morning trip, where we landed a cavalli and then topped it out with an huge king fish, which was even bigger than the grin on the boys' faces! We will be back!

We have just got back from a brilliant morning fishing on the Legacy with Mario and Winston. What a brilliant time we all had. We were picked up from our Villa promptly all organised by them, introduced to our Crew who were really helpful and gave us a tour as we sailed around with 4 rods of the back of the boat. After a few local people telling us we wouldn't catch Mario guaranteed us fish. We caught 5 whoopers, Barbuda and Whahoo we all had a wonderful time both Ladies and Gents were made very welcome. The fishing was slow but towards the end of the trip, we reeled in a 35lb Wahoo fish. We were aboard the Betsy B, and Dennis was a great host. I highly recommend Legacy Fishing Charters!

My husband and I really enjoyed our six hour fishing tour. Mario and Winston were great. We caught 2 wahoo and two small tuna. I was surprised when the tuna were whisked away at the dock before we even got a picture of them. It wasn't clear which fish we could have a few fillets from until then. We opted not to take any fillets from the wahoo since they take much more preparation to cook them right.
